Celebrating Halloween at Nigel Beauty
Halloween is one of the most fun and expressive holidays and our employees are proof of that. One of the busiest times at the store, it was a bittersweet farewell to Halloween season for everyone at Nigel’s today. Our team of makeup artists, hairstylists, FX artists, wig stylists, and other employees all put in a tremendous amount of effort to get into the spirit. Using their talent and our large product selection, our employees put together some great costumes and makeup work.
Hailey
Hailey channeled her inner-Deadite with an Evil Dead-inspired design that used ready-made prosthetics and alcohol-based FX makeup.

Meghan
One of the favorite costumes of the day and winner of the employee costume contest — The Corpse Bride by Meghan:
Mariel
Mariel used Danessa Myricks’ versatile and long-lasting color makeup to create a clown makeup with color that had a graphic effect that was sharp and punchy.
Brandon
Brandon went for simple scars that were created using Tinsley Transfers bondo stipple prosthetic transfers. Makeup by Hailey
David
David came dressed up as vampire that had just eaten. He used Danessa Myricks for the widow’s peak, eyeshadow, and eyebrows; plus blood in different consistencies around the mouth area.
Elisa
Elisa came dressed up as Millicent Patrick, an illustrator who helped develop the idea for The Creature from the Black Lagoon in 1954 . There is some controversy about her involvement that lives on until today.
Jonah
We asked Jonah in receiving what he used for his costume but we weren’t able to get a good answer from this “Punk’in”
